The room styling guide.
Five simple ideas for a space that feels like you. Use what you already own, then choose the details that matter.
Start with a mood
Choose three words for your room: calm, graphic, warm, bold or minimal. Keep larger pieces neutral and let one or two details carry the mood.
Build your light in layers
Combine your existing ceiling light with a softer desk or corner light. Place colour behind a screen or against a wall. Avoid shining LEDs directly into your eyes.
Choose one focal point
A rug, a print or a neon sign can anchor the space. Check dimensions first and leave breathing room around it. A taped outline helps you judge the real size.
Give small things a home
Use a tray for keys, a stand for charging or an organiser for daily essentials. Leave empty space on your desk so the setup stays useful.
Finish, then edit
Repeat one accent colour in two or three places. Tidy cables, check that doors and drawers open comfortably, and remove a detail if the room feels crowded.
